On July 24, 2017 a small Digital Broadcaster Support Group file for and was granted their non-profit status in Delaware. This was the first step for the Digital Broadcast Alliance to become legally recognized as a support organization for small independent radio stations.
Our mission is to preserve small independent radio through technology, training and education; promoting and supporting unique formats not heard on traditional media therefore enhancing the art of radio.
The group is now legally recognized as the Digital Broadcast Alliance, Inc. (DBAI) and on the same date and application was file with the IRS to obtaining official 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.
DBAI plans to make many benefits available to the members including legal digital streaming for radios and education for those who wish to learn more about the digital radio environment.
